Each semester the Career Exploration Center (CEC) hosts a series of workshops on a variety of topics that engage students in the career development process and in choosing a major. Go here to see a list of upcoming workshops.
This year’s Fall Majors Fair will take place on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017, from 3:30-6:00 pm at Union South. Come to the majors fair and browse, chat, explore and ask questions of over 100 departments, majors and certificate programs representing all 8 undergraduate schools and colleges. Advisors from Cross-College Advising Service (CCAS) will also be available to answer your questions.
The Career Exploration Center (CEC) has settled into its new, renovated location in 114 Ingraham Hall and is eager to continue working with as many students as possible at this critical time in the year – when students create plans for summer, the fall semester, and beyond. Students may schedule an appointment with the CEC advisors at the front desk, by phone (608-265-4497), or at the CEC website.
On April 13th at 6:45PM in Law School Room 5246, Gerard Alexander, Associate Professor at the Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics at the University of Virginia, will be coming to speak at an event titled The Rise of Modern Populism and Nationalism. Additionally, John Hall and John Sharpless from the UW-Madison History Department will be speaking.
