The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is holding an event, “A Liberal and Conservative Case for the European Union”, on Wednesday, April 19 at 7:30 pm in the Red Gym. This event will feature Dalibor Rohac, a research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute who studies European political and economic trends. He will be speaking about the liberal and conservative perspectives on the eurozone and the fate of the European Union.
The Undergraduate Research Scholars program is now accepting applications for rising sophomores. URS is a two-semester course in which students do hands-on research or creative work under the guidance of a UW faculty or staff mentor. Each student works on the current project of a mentor who is advancing the frontiers of knowledge or creative practice. Students also participate in a weekly seminar to explore influences of research and creative work in society.
