The Department of Workforce Development is accepting applications for a Communications Specialist Intern. Under the supervision of the DWD Communications Director, this position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications and marketing program for the Department of Workforce Development. This position will work closely with the Communications Office team as well as Communications Liaisons in each division of the department to research, plan, develop and distribute print and digital communications, including social media, to a wide internal and external audience.

Marsy’s Law for Wisconsin is a grassroots movement working with a broad coalition of Wisconsinites seeking to secure equal rights for victims of crime and is seeking field staff positions. Field Staff with Marsy’s Law will work to engage and educate voters in Wisconsin about issues regarding the passage of the Marsy’s Law constitutional amendment for crime victim rights.
