Legislative Fellowship Program for Veterans

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Student Veterans of America (SVA) are now seeking candidates to serve as VFW-SVA Legislative Fellows in 2018.

Selected VFW-SVA Legislative Fellows will be flown to Washington, D.C., to participate in the VFW National Legislative Conference, March 4 – March 9, 2018, where they will walk the halls of Congress, educating their legislators on the issues facing today’s student veterans alongside mentors selected from the VFW National Legislative Committee. Fellows will also have additional opportunities to meet with policy-makers from federal agencies responsible for implementing veterans’ policy, as well as reporters who cover military and veterans’ affairs.

Internships Available with the Wachs for Wisconsin Campaign

The Wachs for Wisconsin campaign is looking for motivated, progressive individuals who can commit up to 10 hours per week at the Madison campaign office. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to campaign fundraising, database management, event planning, and other aspects of Democratic campaigning.
