International Education Week Alumni Career Mentoring gives UW-Madison students an opportunity to learn from and engage with Badger Alumni whose international experiences and backgrounds have contributed to their professional development. Alumni representing a diverse range of careers, backgrounds and interests will share insights into their professional success, and share advice with students in an informal setting. This event will take place on Thursday, November 16th at 6:00PM in the Concerto Room of the Gordon Dining and Event Center.
Get energized, enlightened, informed, and inspired at the Badger Leaders Conference, November 9–11.
The conference will open with a Thursday-night reception featuring keynote speakers Jim Doyle ’67 and Jessica Doyle ’67, MS’76. The former Wisconsin governor and his educator wife — who both served as Peace Corps volunteers — will share their thoughts about the university, public service, and the Wisconsin Idea.
This conference will prepare you for continued success in your volunteer and professional endeavors. Don’t miss this opportunity to spend time on campus this fall and soak up some Badger spirit!
Steven Olikara, a UW-Madison Political Science alum and recent Forward Under 40 recipient, is giving a talk entitled “The Future of Political Leadership and the Role of Public Universities” on Tuesday, September 19th at 12:00PM in Room 159 of the Education Building. Learn more.
